Stocks for Tots – What and When

If you are a NASCAR fan then you must be aware of the stock for tot. This event helps the fans and the drivers get together, and at the same time, it provides awareness to the child abuse problem in North Carolina, giving out the opportunity to meet your favorite driver and to help children at the same time.

This event occurs each year, and it has over 100 celebrities being a part of it, from Nascar’s hall of fame to Richard Petty, Bobby Allison to Jared Irvan and Kven Earnhardt, Ned Jarrett, Rex White, and Dale Inma. These celebrities are set up to take pictures, sign autographs to fans, and to interact with them.

This event started in 1989, and since then it has raised over more than $1 million. This year’s event is set to earn at least $25.000 and to collect approximately 10.000 toys to those children that are in need.

In order to assist to this fundraising, the fans have to donate $10 dollars cash or give out a brand new toy, having in mind that only 200 tickets are going to be for sale. Then they’ll get the opportunity of meeting and spending time with all of their favorite celebrities. And if you want to be one the first 50 people in line you can by paying $100 dollars, but as said before there are only 50 tickets.

This event keeps growing larger and larger each year, the sport’s fans see this event as a great opportunity, due to the advantages that it has. It’s family-friendly, and it’s supposed to last up to 5 hours.  It’ll take place in Nascar Technical Institute.

Stock for Tots, it’s a great opportunity to help others and at the same time, being able to get to know your favorite drag racing celebrities. This event has partner-up with SCAN (stop child abuse now), and all of the money raised would be donated to this foundation. SCAN also has a great deal in this event, they help kids giving out classes of anger management and providing services to families in need.
